The Whitepaper is where it says QVGA at 24fps in the Video section. Check qctconnect.com for MSM7201 details. Also check http://www.pdadb.net

@drW

Is the X1 supposed to be a high end device or a mid level device? BTW it supports upto 6Mpx not 8, also that has no relation to video recording. Why am I getting worked up? We'll thats because I know what kind of tech cell phone companies have on hand seeing it real time and they're not giving it to use, just rebadging old products(X1/Rapahael a la TyTn II which was launched a year earlier) just new eyecandy and they want people to buy it. You can say that if you dont ike it dont buy it, but if we keep buying dated products technology just wont advance. HTC supposedly was supposed to use the Snapdragon this year, but no they stick to the crappy MSM7200 series chipset.

@aksd:

What I see in the whitepaper (p. 7) says VGA 30fps record in mpeg4 and h.263. 15fps in h.264

Only the U.S. version is restricted to QVGA 24fps and no h.264

I wonder if this limitation could be overridden through software?

I saw the "up to 30fps" in the whitepaper. I hope SE dont pull another K850 on the X1. We know in K850 the "up to 30 fps" in actual fact is most-of-time-is-15fps-but-on-ocassion-it-can-reach-30fps.

On my N82, the video rec framerate is a constant 25-30fps.

I don't really like the fact that they added the Xperia on top of the Nav Pad... it's just too busy already.

Steel silver looks good, although i would prefer them to have the navigation pad to be silver as well. i like the solid black better though...
