agree I dont think a phones camera can react that fast, probably was taken by a dslr...

not true. exposure time of this picture is 1/1250s which means:
1. good light conditions
2. fast enough to freeze the insect in flight
3. SE phones can take 1/6400s shots (you can freeze very fast-moving subjects)

. . . it will be the best xenon flash phone on the market

Hi Mario, why do you think the Xenon flash will be so good. The one on the K850 is s*** (a real sep backwards from the K800). Is there a spec somewhere that shows it will be an improvement? The Xenon flash is important to me so would be interested if they've definitely improved it.

I thought I would get it. Good quality for camphone.

Yes I feel a little bit dissappointed about C905, but it's still worth to get... Best offering from SE to date, not to mention other manufacturer...

But, if C905 was a dedicated digital camera, I would not get it... There are many other better digicam at the same price

@Hiron In your honest opinion, do you think that the sampled pics we have so far come anywhere near the Innov8's, photoshopped or not? And is the xenon flash at least as good as nokias? I hope is not the same module as in the k850i because then it won't be anywhere near I am aware the Samsung takes a few seconds longer between shots but look at the quality, not to mention the optical zoom. The problem with the optical zoom in 5mp+ camera is handshaking ! If the lens is not mechanicaly stabilized you'll have to keep your hand 3 square times stiller ! ! ! That's 9x ! not to add any smearing/distortion ! Innov8 takes stunning optically zoomed pics, if the delay timer is used and the cell is not touched at all during shutter release ! I still remember most magazine testers and users do not know that and blame the phone There is no limit to stupidity and this fact seems to make optical zoom in a cell impractical. For video recording is usefull thou because the resolution is much much less, but that is not a issue with SE phones of this days

I'm sorry before, but could you give me the link which stated that Innov8 has optical zoom? I thought I miss some important thing... : confused :

About optical zoom in camphone, yes it's quite impractical to implementing it to such a small lens. At least it needs bigger lens or telescopic lens design...

But I'm quite impressed with SO905iCS optical zoom performance...

About the Xenon Flash performance, you can see page 140 in this thread. Look at the delicious pizza photo...

Judge it by yourself. The question isn't about if it's perform better than Nokia, but more about your own taste. Do you like it or not? Are you satisfied? Everyone has their opinions.

In my opinion, the flash is quite decent, and C905 got bigger Xenon than K850

About the pics photoshopped or not, I dunno... You also can edit EXIF with many program out there, just google it...

But for your information as I said before, the 800x600 sample pics comes from Virgile Fountaine, a professional reviewers from Planete Nokia. He is a credible guy, and have no reason for faking it.

Furthermore, I saw him taking a picture of himself through a mirror, holding silver C905. It proves he using C905, not DSLR, because that picture has the same quality with the other picture from him...

And in my point of view, I thought I don't care if Innov8, Samsung, Nokia or LG beats C905, at least nowadays. That's because there is only a little performance differences.

The more important question for me: are you satisfied with the quality for everyday using? I said yes. And that's more than enough for me. We must still count other factors when selecting a phone: price, style, ergonomics and many more... And C905 suits me...

Dunno about the others, because everyone has it's own opinion. So decide it yourself. Dont let other people persuading you... Just try the dummies in a phone store and decide! The answer is only two: buy or not.

I'm quite satisfied about QVGA rec, knowing that YouTube performs at QVGA (although I still expect more...)

Hiron, I agree with your opinion totally. The samsung does have optical zoom, but the way most cam phones these days which have optical zoom is by actually bending the lens inside the camera, so no moving parts. As plank has said before, this can create poor images. As long as it records QVGA effectively, every pixel counts, and it is smooth, I will be very happy, although other contender have 4x quality improvements, I would never use any of their results in my photo library, because the quality is not up standard. Another interesting thing about all those who record at QVGA, they all run on symbian, or so I think. I think wifi is useful on a phone, but as I carry my itouch wherever I go, it soughta makes everything redundant, including baby laptops. The image quality looks good, and if all I have to do with them is press the colour boost button in picasa, I will be happy, why, because it took me about 3 minutes on every k850 flash burnt picture to adjust.
Thanks again Hiron
