If they are adding a 15.5MP option for 16:9, which is an odd MP count, might as well just go for a standard 12MP 4:3 as well, at 4000x3000.
Hopefully Sony will migrate these over to the Z1 once the 4.4 update hits and not after this supposed device goes on sale.

I have no problem with the naming being Z1 - wait 6 months - Z2 - 6 months - Z3 - etc, BUT does that mean the Tablets and Ultras will miss a number in between every time (because they're on 12 month schedules)? i.e. we don't see a Z3 Tablet or Z5 Tablet?
To me, that is what will confuse people.

Naming is confusing... but we don't know yet what is the final name, it might be Z1x or might be Z2...
I hope I enter a coma and wake on 25 Feb., and then enter a coma again and wake when it released here
Ops.. I forgot my birthday on 22 Feb

Sony dear, I don't mind any gift from you

@Xajel... Like Eric cartman with the Wii....
Other pics Thanks to
iRimas this time screenshots about 4k, Creative Effects and Timeshift Video.
4k
Creative Effects
Timeshift Video
Creative effects have a really different UI, with video and phots and a different way so select the effect... Shame:( I like the previous UI qith all the effect together! I like the Icon for the App...
Nothing interesting in the Timeshift... it seems...
Whereas in the 4k there do not seem to be an option to limit video lenght, but maybe it is just not viewable...
Also what is that little Pin in the Creative Effects shot? is it the Geotagging?
iRimas is online and active... he ansewered two questions already... so if you have an account on XDA and have questions... well just go and ask

@CrownedAkuma
Yes, that little pin is the Geo Tagging icon. The PIN means it's locked. There is a GPS icon that means it's searching for you. My XS, since 2.3 has it.

iRimas says there is no more Blind Effect when unlocking... I liked it so much

They're probably thinking that numbering the tablets/phablets separately wouldn't make them appear as "current" as the phone models with higher numbers at the time of release.
"Z2" is indeed the final name for Sirius and Castor.

Loving my Z1 compact right now. The battery life is pretty incredible, though it can get a little warm in the hands at times of intense workloads.
Camera software really annoys me. Like really annoys me. Such aggressive image processing. The noise reduction makes everything look pastel and smudges a lot of the details. They should go for minimum processing, cause they don't need it as much as others, cause they have a really good sensor.
Hoping for OIS to back up the nice sensor, in the next iteration.

Yes... It's the next thing they need to sort out... Hopefully they understood that the way to go With display is IPS (thanks god they are not using AMOLED!! )... Now they need to work out a better algorithm..! It's a shame beacause AFAWeK the sensor is really a HIGH quality sensor (for a phone obviously!) so they shouldn't be using this kind of post procession! It should be lighter:)
Still guys, at least the Z1 (I dunno the Z1C), is capa le of GREAT Photos!:)
... I almost forgot, they should also out at least 32GB of Rom! For christ sake my, dead, 5 years old iPhone 3GS jas 32GB of Memory!!!!!!
