Yeah i was going to mention that.Xiaomi is using improved 615.On the side note 808 is really a bad choice,805 maybe a better choice than 808 but here is what LG claims.might be bullshit though
LG claims that it has worked closely with Qualcomm in customizing the SoC and has achieved a level of performance higher than the Exynos 7420 in daily task

2015 is the year for big bezels flagship. All flagship this year ships with big bezel that includes the LG G4. I hope SONY trimmed the bezels on the q4 flagship

@Gitaroo
Yeah.My Z2 with 801 scores around 2800 on geekbench3.
@Moogoo

It was a bit offtopic but new unannounced sensor is interesting for us.Now it makes two of them.Unnamed RGBW sensor in huawei P8 and IMX234 in G4.makes me think Sony might have a secret sensor for Q4
@kurtdean
I only care about side bezels and thinness because they factor in one hand usage.Keep in mind Z3 has a very good screen to body ratio with no camera budge.I prefer flat device with some extra mm on top and bottom to that.

@josephnero,
Huawei P8 - sony imx278 (13 mp)
Lg g4 - sony imx234 (16 mp)
I thought Lg made the camera of G4 out out of scratch but it turns out that it still have some sony DNA. I really think, Sony's camera business is going to put them back on track.
Sony's sensor is selling like hotcakes.
But looking on those phones, It makes me wonder what Sony has in store for us. Sure, the Z series have higher mp count which makes the average person think in a while that it has somehow better camera BUT those new camera tech from those two phones aren't gimmicks. The 3-axis OIS and a dedicated camera chip are really something to look forward to unlike useless crap (like heart rate monitor)

the others like LG or Samsung are probably too late into the game to start their own sensor manufacturing and R&D. Sure there are some potential cost saving and start of a new production line but the cost difference is probably low enough to not even bother and just buy from Toshiba or Sony.
On the other hand, everyone please spam "yes" in this topic

I don't get why people are so obsessed with RAW support to a mobile phone?
The images will end up grainy as heck and once you have applied some noise reduction, your images will end up worse.
I shoot RAW with my Canon EOS 70D and going from JPG to RAW is a huge step in terms of details but also in terms of noise. To a phone, I don't see how RAW can be of any interest with so much noise it's going to generate.

I am pretty sure Samsung is working hard on their own camera sensors and we will see them soon again, at this moment they probably can't match Sony sensors quality yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Samsung making even better sensors then Sony in the next few years knowing how much money they can spend on R&D. Same thing with Apple.

Because many people want untainted pictures from the camera without the horrible jpeg algorithm from Sony. People didn't only requested RAW but also full manual camera control.

Pretty sure they are too, Samsung for starter like to have their hands in everything possible. Like some has describe, they are like Sony in the late 90s and early 2000. They were left with a lot of money with unclear direction. They start stepping into territory that they are unfamiliar with and may end up like where Sony is now as the company gets way too big to manage. Or they can learn from Apple let others figure things out and pick from the best even if it cost a bit more but save tons of headache.

I hope Z ultra successor has an amazing screen just like the original Z ultra. The original Z ultra has the most beautiful screen in any sony phones until now IMO. Can't wait to see it
