When playing music the phone refused to go back and when tking a photo and open up the tasks and the phone froze.
Hope the real thing is better

If you look closer at that pic you'll see that if SE had made the keypad a bit more normal, there would have been more space for a NORMAL and maybe comfy D-pad.

Wouldn't either the 2 or 5 act as the centre key then?
I had wondered that too, but how would the interface know when you intend to generate an actual 2 or 5 as opposed to a centre press?

Yea, they could have put the buttons closer together and then there would be more room for a bigger 2.4 or 2.6" screen.
Well, I think the K860i will be out in a few months and piss off everyone that buys a K850i.

See my mini review of the K850 UI (based on the emulator)
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=156781
The DPAD arrangement, while not as good as a joystick, is actually pretty neat. The "centre" key is directly above the "up" key of the dpad ie: the centre softkey (touchkey). It's fiddly but I think that after a bit of use one could get used to it without any problems.
I'm relieved, I actually think the UI changes work. I don't see why they had to change them in the first place, but the changes fit with the SE UI philosophy. Despite the addition of dedicated CALL and END buttons, the K850 UI is NOT a Nokia rip off. This is still the SE UI we love
