This is the first revision to EMS driver. I tried to overcome the big problem which is taking pics of people with flash. With both modded and with the original driver, the results tend to be delivered with those yellow spots typical of the C905 (and present in the new Satio, too).

Before some people start to shoot at me, let me explain HOW TO BENEFIT from these changes:

- First of all, if you intend to shoot people with flash, select the 'saturation' option in the 'manual settings' menu and decrease its value to -0.3. Reducing saturation helps to diminish the presence of those yellow spots.

- After that, select the best WB according to the ambient light. I tried to set the camera up based on the ambient light. If you're shooting in the dark, select 'fluorescent'.

- You may also leave them all in Auto and shoot. Most of the shots come out very good, at least to me. Nevertheless, some few shots taken with Auto WB may come out a little bit red. If that occurs, try to change WB settings or color settings with Color Tuning options in the manual settings menu.

- Again, that seems to be a good overall setting for my taste. It may not be good for yours', though. If you like to have more warm colors for your flash shots, I guess it could be better to edit them in post processing than having those horrible yellow spots within the picture. Increasing even slightly the temperature of the colors result in many of them. It's disappointing, but that's the truth with this phone. My old N82 performed a lot better in this regard.

Please give some feedback if you face any bug with that.

@dobrizmaj

I think Vit refer specifically to the yellowish spot when using flash; not for the overall quality.
Myself haven't notice this symptom yet.

LOL. Some comments... Just make me laugh. Sorry, guys, could not resist. Some people just can't bear to see a hint of another mobile company here... It's like discussing either religion, politics, or football. Sorry about mentioning the name Nokia here. I am really sorry about that.

Hi, pal!

Well... It's a mixed driver from various sources and with some improvements of my own. Some from one, some from other... I would say it's mostly based upon CShot Xp 4.1, which provided the basis for manual controls.

I would say that color tuning is not always necessary. Please, read some of my last posts for more info on that. It's handy when you face complex ligthing, basically.

Otherwise it's pretty much like and enhanced original driver. It's not gotten the color set up from DM's drivers. I like them when taking outdoor pics, but sometimes I think it's got too much saturation and it seems to be too warm to my taste, especially for those flash shots, where yellow spots are more visible.

Anyway, just my opinion.

What would you recommend for shots in a club?
