Huh, no problem, tried again and the pc recognized the phone . Looks like you have to run the update twice !

Just updated the firmware.
I have come accross a problem.
If i put the clock big then what happens is that it will come underneath the date and it says in the improvement list that it should be above the date on the stand by screen.
Any suggestions

Hi, i have R1CB001. In the service menu, software info, after camera version, etc, it says Customization CDA102511/13 R7A cxc1250490 R1CB001 E_PLUS. The phoneworks with sims from all the providers i tested, Orange, Vodafone, Cosmote and Zapp so i dont think it's branded. Also there is no E Plus sign on it anywere, just in the meniu it says E Plus WAP, left to the Internet icon.
I'm trying to update using seus and it says i already have the latest version. What's wrong ? tks for your help

Updated via SEUS last night (O2 UK) - agree improved camera refresh rate is perhaps one of the most noticeable changes.
However a bug I've noticed that I couldn't see listed on the front page is that when 'phone lock' is set to auto it now seems to flash up the phone lock pin entry screen on bootup. I now get the SIM PIN screen, enter that, then it flashes up the Phone Lock PIN. However before I get a chance to enter a PIN it then continues booting the phone.
I'm assuming that this is because I haven't changed the SIM (hence no need to enter phone PIN) but it makes me wonder whether the auto phone lock is actually working. Assuming it is then it must be a bug displaying the screen at boot up.
Anyone else found this?
Cheers
Alan

yeah. this is the case for me aswell.. if you choose am/pm format. it will show the time above the date. but if you choose the 24 hour format it ovrlays with the date. which i think is kinda cool
