sample pic from my modded 9.21.. here's a close-up taken with LOW LIGHT, macro on, autofocus.. i'm really tired so hands are a bit shaky hehe.. otherwise this cud have been sharper.. but just look at the detail on the gray plastic, very nice.

from my tests, the modded 9.21 is better, and it has much better compression. i worry about one thing-when are we going to finally settle on a camera driver? flashing my phone to load new drivers is a daily ritual

@BLKsnaker.. you call a routine call #JPEG_MIN, #JPEG_MAX, etc.. but those don't exist.. you have the usual SET_JPEG_MIN and SET_JPEG_MAX defined, but those aren't being used.. i'm not sure how this #JPEG_MIN and #JPEG_MAX commands work?

You don't get it, because i write that jpeg compression set to automatic, and that`s why result of smaller pic`s size...

Don`t be confused, you have good perception in BLKsnaker driver, because it is an error... unnecesseary commands and routine...

I can affirm, this is an optimal compression jpeg algorithm without any quality losses, just result of smaller jpeg size... (presented in 6.36version of driver)
If my driver don`t suites to yours phone, and give not so good results, just change value in
seq_init 06 02 00 01
05 56 #CMD_END with 04 or 06, and you will have an optimal, simple and good working driver... It is for sure!

If you comparing this drivers, give a try to make shots in same conditions and the same way...
Take a look in EXIF infos, and you will see the differences in views, distant and close view (of my driver), and 15 mins differences in taking those shots, might cause colors don`t be equal....
