siema Kriomag
wiem ze jestes polakiem wiec pisze po pl bo nie umiem za bardzo po angielsku..
robisz bardzo fajne drivery..
mam jedna prosbe..
moglbys zrobic mi driver 21.8 tyle ze bazowany na 7.7final jak to masz w wersji 21.6 ??
wydaje mi sie ze jest to lepsze rozwiazanie niz bazowanie na 21.4.
z gory thx.

The Phone model is w810i like in my avatar and the firmware is R4EA031 like in my signature

Today, I have tested Koprotis last driver. So I saw the JPEG automatic compression algorithm in action. Logically, I must ask, what I got with it. Drivers without it had 250kb photos as well as 550kb (for example). The same here, maybe photos have less kb. Anyway, I had one problem, when the picture was too large...so it falled..i took it on a few trials and finally and it had 603kb... So, I'm not sure, if it must be the right way.
What are your experiences?

hmm...your latest drivers seem to be wonderful...however...21.8 may have some kind of bug with autofocus in normal mode as well as in fine mode...as autofocus can't focus properlpy on the objects that are quite close...even macro mode does not help...however...i think that you fixed autofocus problem in 21.7 driver but you forgot about it in 21.8
these are two examples: 1. manual focus+EM+macro 2. autofocus+EM+macro...
at first i thought that the distance may be too short but this problem is the same with the futher objects as well...
i tried most of the combinations to get autofocus work properly but it doesn't seem to be working. i think someone had the same problem in 21.6 driver but you fixed this bug in 21.7 as far as i remember. i hope you'll be able to fix it.

can this bug with autofocus be because all the versions of 21.8 driver that you gave seem to be for CID36 whilst w810 is CID49?...also can it be because you have used 21.4 as a base for 21.8 and not 7.7 final as in 21.7?
i hope you'll fix it...but for a while i'll stick to 21.7 as it didn't have any bugs so far! thanx so much Kriomag for making our phone cameras' so close to real cameras. thumbs up for your great job!!!

How to use the Manual Focus:
When in range 1.1-4.0 (+/-) click half-shutter for preview with zoom (you can ON/OFF zoom preview clicking half-shutter) - now (when zoom is on) you can adjust focus very precisely (+/-), when picture is most sharp half press (and hold) shutter (the zoom will go off) and when you are ready press shutter to take picture.

At page 121 you posted this driver with manual focus... this is what i use now, and works great on my w800i.
Can you put on it just the new compresion alghoritm with fine and normal mode from mladen750i, and of course your new fast focus?
I like this driver simplicity, you can take a picture any moment with no so many button pressed.
i like your last driver too, but for manual focus i have to enter in menu to change to normal mode.. if i want an ENM photo i have to enter again to change to fine mode... too many changes for a point-and-shot camera.
This is just my opinion....

Krio's 21.8 driver is ultra cool. Still i have found some bugs:
the autofocus bug - sometimes it won't focus in normal/fine mode - close camrea and reopen, and all is Ok. Can you fix this man?
