yes I had it two or three times, its where the top of the 2 key gets caught under the casing a little. I've adapted the way I press the keys a little and haven't experienced it for 2 or 3 days with about 10 or so SMS and any number of calls
to get a K700 without the chinese characters just buy one in a non chinese country

i will go out tommororw and buy it. if my average monthly bill is £140 on o2 do you reckon i'll get a free upgradE? and is it in a SE box or a o2 box..

se box m8 , can't delete o2 stuff but doesn't effect memory much 300k maybe.
unlocked and no icons changed , just a the o2 wap setup which can be deleted.

I can confirm the batterymeter bug
I have been using my K700i now for 3 days without recharging it - the first day batterymeter went down rather fast and the last 2 days batterymeter has been 1 red block left - hasnt changed since. Used the phone - not heavily - but still more than normal use. Made calls, listened to the radio and mp3's, taken atleast 25 pictures, transfered those to the computer, and turned it on atleast 800 times just to look at it
I would say 3 days of use is very good for a phone with this many nice features and the way I use it - I would be satisfied even with 2 days.
