Rhino, thats very true. I played with a 5800xm before geting a go at the iPhone, and they felt worlds apart. 5800s UI i felt very comfortable with, its like a very "safe" option if you want to get all the best features on a user friendly smartphone OS thats not too flashy, iPhone was just the totaly opposite lol, i cant completely explain it cause theres just NOTHING like it out there all i know is that after using one i wanted it SOOO bad.

Kyle it's very easy.I was quite suprised myself.

Dang Wangs.had so much trouble last night trying to download and install Itunes that I haven't even had an opportunity to get a foot in the Appstore yet to try out some apps. Was at it till early hours of the morning.

lol rhino it's my hobby.and the deals I end up making with my old phones makes it so I don't even notice the financial pinch.
This Iphone is very captivating. The whole world of Apple and Itunes is very captivating (never thought I'd ever say that) I can see Stephen Fry grinning from ear to ear with hearing that confession.I am truly blown away.I won't be singing anymore Apple praises but I give credit where credit is due.A truly magnificent device and I haven't even opened the door yet.

Just updated my software to the latest 2.2.1 and it was insanely stressful. Its a 246mb update and the first attempt bombed leaving me with a dead Iphone.Luckily it backs up your previous software and second time I was lucky.Havent had a chance to look at all the changes yet. That wiped me out and I need to go sleep now lol

Hope everyone is kewl.

246mb??? WOAH! Not even the N95-8gb had updates that large in size, typical American products,if they dont guzzel your fuel they guzzel your data. Glad it all worked out in the end Hobbs,so you havent tried Jailbreaking it yet or anything?

Far canal! That is a moerse update indeed...

LMAO, I was also thinking this morning as to how proud Stephen Fry would be as regards your Awesome Apple Adventure, Hobbster.
You beat me to it, LOL.

I occasionally watch Stephen Fry on a TV quiz show that he hosts here called QI (as opposed to IQ). Dang, the man is a multi-talented, walking encyclopedia.

Off topic, I'm taking the class to an outdoor education camp in rural Essex from tomorrow until Friday. I thus won't have much time to post (or sleep!) over the next few days.
Keep the ball rollin' in here, guys.

@ Hobbster:
Hope you've had more of a chance to sample the multimedia munchies on offer in Appstore Land tonight.
