hey do ne of u guys know bout the AMD Sempron processor?? is it good in a laptop?. seems pretty cheap

@san...did u mention processor, labtop...pls find out more...I been searching/reading all dat I could but since l ve never used it before, cant understand what what means...I would really appreciate if some1 could point out which make & model should I go for. l want it for internet, gaming, basic graphics & programing, video etc...definately need 2 have a nice big good screen & should look good & thin aswell...between 25K & 35K..so...any suggestions ?
Btw did any body try d operamini...I downloaded & installed it but cant seem to make it work.

hmm if u want gaming and stuff avoid the sempron, celeron kinda stuff. go for p4 or the Pentium M processors. u need to get a good graphics card too. y dont u try dell india, sorry i dont kno prices of laptops there.

Stretch it to about 55-60k and you should get a good machine which will allow you to do all that comfortably without any trouble....the 25-35k laptops will also be able to handle a bit of this and that.....but not as effectively
@san .AMD Sepron is a decent processor...comparable to a Celeron...but tends to heat up the laptop faster than a Celeron...my advice...avoidable...get a laptop with Pentium M Or PIV as suggested...but if you're on a shoestring budget the Sempron processor will help lower the overall price of the laptop

the laptop was for my friend.
i'm happy with my dell i5100 with a p4, 3.0ghz 512mb ram 64mb ati raedon 9000
. i can happily play halo and gta san andreas smoothly
