You are able to update through seus, no new update is available yet though.

But if you leave your cda the same when flashing, the seus will recognise it and when it updates will change your phone back to the old settings you had on your phone.
Though, if you change your cda it will recognise it as a diff phone, and unbranded one for example, and not change anything but do the update......

thanks ads1107, for your reply!
That makes things clear to me.

Any tips on how to remove the t-mobile sticker under the display, without damaging the phone, maybe someone did it?

Hello, i recently upgraded to firmware R1ED001 from a SE authorized service center. the phone works fine except for the occasional missing text labels i.e. in the Messaging menu, the "write new" "inbox" "email" etc becomes "FS 12:334" (something like that) then when i exit and go back the right labels come back.. has anyone experience this? It is not limited to the Messaging menu, it happens in other menus as well

hello, got my k790i yesterday..
Set up the internet settings...

I am an ex-k750 user.. Just wanted to ask whether has the "Blue triangle" above the signal bar which indicates gprs signal still retained in the k790? Because i cannot see any blue triangle... In fact i do see a tiny "G" or sometimes a tiny "E" above the signal bar...
Can anyone tell me what they stand for?
I had flawless gprs working with opera mini on my k750, but somehow i can't seem to connect to the net with the k790..
Any suggestions? - I have entered the same settings as the k750..

You will see 'faded' test next to the cursor.

Anyone pls verify..

This is a new feature called Next Word Prediction. The phone learns how you type and suggests words that it thinks you may write next. Pressing space accepts these suggestions.

To turn it off, in Compose choose More > 4: Writing options > 4:Next Word Pred.
