I think in the long run sim free is better, but it really depends hey, i think Wanqs ,Hobbs, and Rhino would have better knowledge than me at this, and im sure MTN will offer it in a nice contract package. My N81 was bought sim free so its completely paid off at R4197 which at the time was better than the contracts it was on, so i guess it really depends.
