What a day. So whilest listenin to music at college today my K850 got the blue ring of death, i thought to myself WTF i cant have two phones in the service center so when i got home i got on to the PC and went through every SE site with a modding section looking for who knows what, i some how stumbled on across someones 4Shared virtual hdd and they had the correct FS and Main files for my phone, both were around 30-35mb each, i had some how figured these two are what i need since when my K850 had BROD i couldnt access the file system (FS), so i just connected the dots lol, then had to find something to flash it with, cause id read about flashing back in the day with all the dying K800s, turned out the new version of A2Uploader can now flash, got it and flashed my phone with the fs and main files -doing this i did a lil trial and error, and figured it out i was on a roll here, then all went smoothly up until i booted the phone and got a configuration error, this was now at 5pm, that error alone meant i cant do anything with the phone even though i had just brought it back to life for the next 6-7hours i was registering, posting to some other under ground SE forums, googling, swearing like a trooper to no avail , and just totaly pissed off and frustrated thought id have to use the U700 for the next two weeks or so, what an annoying piece of shite the thing is as a normal phone, so i carried on searching, anyway after over 130mb of data wasted over a file that was just a couple ok kb large i found it uploaded it to my phone and booted it up just 10mins ago and its as good as new, atleast i know all that time i spend reading random topics is not in vane and ive learnt something lol, told myself i wont sleep till the thing is working again thank goodness i managed to fix it before reaching for a can of Monster thought id just let you all know, eish the things we do for our phones.

Gucci, your patience with sorting out cellphones and knowledge about the things in general is pretty darn impressive; methinks the local Dark Side offices should check out esato, read through this thread and then offer you a job, LOL.

@ Hobbster:
Where for art thou? Hopefully lapping up the sunshine and the run-fest at Newlands...

Thanx Wanqs and Gola i dont even wana look at my pc today, ive left it in such a mess
Gola
Im a part time student at Damelin College, upgrading my matric, dont think i told you guys Wits totaly rejected me and UJ was the same, thanx to my low science and accounting mark, so my parents and i decided i should rewrite 3 of them: Math, Accounting and Science, and Damelin have a part time course that allows past matriculants to redo a few subjects so that you can get into the course you want to, so ye, not realy a gap year, but realy relaxed because i only do 3 classes, so im home sometimes by 12 in the afternoon lol, the number of people doing part time is unbelievable, and all the same subjects funny enough. So ye thats what im up to this year. and hopefuly be at Wits next year.

The Hobbster has been really busy at work.Sorry guys for been so scarce.Ja Wangs,I hope the Proteas pull off a win in this last test to level it 3-3.Overall it has been a good clash with the Aussies.
So what's happening in my Apple bubble.I'm very pleased with the announcement of 3.0.It's has some very welcome added functionality.
Regarding jailbreaking Gucci,Ive got everything I need to do the procedure,Im just waiting for a little while and doing a bit more homework and reading to be 100% sure it's what I want to do.

Gola.
The back wheel isn't that bad to take off, all you do is loosen the rear axle then push it forward then the chain just slides off. Both front and rear tire is easy to take off the bike. But to get the tire tube out is a mission on the front tire.

@ gola:

I wanted to take some P1i pics of Tower Bridge (again) for the monthly comp, but the bridge is littered with scaffolding at the moment as they're busy repainting it. Apart from its famous architecture, its located very, very close to where friends of ours stay, and we were there last night after work.

There are plenty other bridges across the Thames; I just need to decide which one and get on with it, LOL.

Hobbs, sounds good, ye rather have good feedback than just jumping into it.
