So are they insinuating that it could be shipped close to as soon as they announce the phone? Would be impressive but given their track record id put money on it not happening. Then again maybe they have been working on this for a while.

I have an iphone which has the same screen size so go by that if you are worried about it fitting in your pocket. Samsungs Omina HD is a 3. inch screen so im sure this will be fine for you.

GSM arena specs are probably not uber accurate. i'll wait for an official spec sheet from SE....
Especially since GSM arena doesn't have tri-band HSDPA as a feature

The sooner this phone comes out the better. I'm sort of rather glad SE chose to give us a couple of phones that seem to pack a lot of features as opposed to lots of phones with missing features.
It probably also shows that they are expecting to contract this year, when there will be less phones sold all around. I think the worse thing to do now would be to announce a shed load of expensive phones when hardly any will be sold in this economic climate.
The Idou already has its fans and if they can pull this off with a smooth glitch-free launch then they're onto a good thing.
The hands-on video of it is simply immense.
