What are you talking about - it's the same phone!? It just 'looks' better because it is a computer-generated render.
The phone pictured from @evleaks is the Xperia XZ2. The Xperia XZ2 Compact will be chubbier, but essentially look the same phone as the prototype pic in the wild.
I know that the XZ2 pic is different from XZ2c 2 days ago. XZ2c is made of plastic and is chunky, and XZ2 is made of glass-metal that's why I said that I'm happy that XZ2 looks much better than XZ2c.

No new Premium, no Dual cams (and probably no improvements in photo quality compared to previous generations as it ueses XZP sensor), design is still 2 years behind the competition at least from what we can see on the leaked photo.
So, again, looks like we will see some mediocre devices form Sony, and we thought we will see something game changing FINALLY. Good job Sony

But how Sony cannot make better camera then Google when they have decades of experience working with cameras? They can but looks like they do not have software developers (which Google has, the best ones available) capable to port their knowledge to the mobile devices. Sony had better post processing in the days of SonyEricsson then they have now.
