Apparently upgrading to firmware version 2.0 is the worst possible thing you can do. Something to do with homebrew or summat i read.

DONT UPGRADE TO VERSION 2.00

If you do youwont be able to downgrade to version 1.50, as you need this version toplay homebew suff!!

homebrew allows you to launch special applications and games etc... some dude got windows 95 running on his psp using some homebrews!

I just picked up an Aussie spec PSP about an hour ago. Pity about the lack of homebrew on ver 2.0 as i'm looking forward to launching my custom apps and emulators. Good thing about 2.0 is the native browser and expanded connectivity. This message was posted from a K700i

well we'll be using it in future firmware upgrade.. it has the ability to control ur Sony devices such as Tv, Dvd player, PS2 etc... something like a home media device.... which is kinda cool..
