Hrmmm, I kinda must say, i'm not too happy with the current quality of my pictures taken with the K750i, even the outdoor pics are ok at max... is it cause the K750i is using a cmos? Though so far all I've read says they're about the same...

I'm using the R1N035 firmware, and Camera software is 4.5..(this should be the latest right...just updated it 3 days ago )

This is one of the nicer ones, taken in my garden in the daytime

My messy room with the flash on (slightly orangy...probably cause the lightbulb in this room is warm white)

Same shot, but without the flash on

Without the night mode

Comments are widely welcome, as well as suggestions on methods to use the camera, as well as why they all seem rather grainy

Kinson. (Loves the phone)

I think the pics are fine ranging to mediocre that you posted there. Beyond creating some good light sources, holding the camera steady, and using night mode or macro only when needed, you cannot increase your quality much more.

Are you coming from a digital camera before your phone? Compare your pics to a 640x480 phone or even one of the first 1mp phones and you will see how much better your pics are.

Good light means everything. It's all about the light.

Here's a pretty W800i window display at Sony Style in NYC.

I'm not comparing them to a digicam pic, I don't expect it to be up to those standards, but more or less the S700 which me friend has. His seems to capture pictures better than both my sony clie nx/80(1.3mp CMOS), and the K750i, of course it could be just me, but I'm also comparing my pics to some of those in this thread, granted that there is good lighting in them, but some of them are in rather dark areas...such as the one in Hong Kong in the first page...of course, I'm not trying to argue with anybody here, just voicing my concern over me phone, hehehe. I'll try to capture some better shots

Thanks again.

Here are a couple of panoramic photos I took whilst on my hols:

The coast of Capri

The view from an amazing restaurant/hotel in St Lucia (where they filmed Lex Luther's pad in Superman 2!) - great food too!

They aren't full res though coz Esato compressed them - I'm too old to understand about putting stuff elsewhere on the web.
