seeing these panorama shots makes me very excited for the next gen of phones which might let us take 2mp+ panoramas instead of 480 height. I'm very impressed by these shots.

@ kinson, they look good pictures to me mate. I think they only look grainy because they were taken indoors. Mine look the same when taken indoors.

Outdoor shots or bright light source shots turn out fine though. Its just the natural weakness of cameraphones and nothing everyone else does not have to put up with.

Heres some more forest scenes, taken yesterday:

Forestscene1

Forestscene2

I love how the light breaks through between the branches, giving the effect it does on the ground, varying colour tones etc..

You've probably noticed i like taking pictures of the forest..

I think they came out very well. I took 125 pictures in total, but immediately binned 50 of them because they were blurry. Like i say, my own fault for not holding the camera still.

How do you guys get full res photos etc up here?

I'm a bit of a loser when it comes to forums like this, so have no clue how you got all these different ways of putting up photos.

Let us know please! Have a couple more photos.

Baz

PS Andy... did you really take those panoramics from your K750 with more than 1 shot (rather than cropped) - if so it is bloody fantastic!! Absolutely no sign of the divide!! How did you do it? I always find the brightness slightly changes on the edge of shot hence makes divide slightly visible.

PPS I've stuck with the original R1A firmware (for now) - which I used for the St Lucia and Capri photos earlier. Thanks for the kind comments too, glad you like.

I'm just curious as to how @Vein managed to get 826KB for a 2MP pic out of his K750!!
Chk out his 2nd posted pic...I thought the average with R1A044 was about 500KB which was then reduced to around 350-450 KB with newer firmwares.
Is it b/c he fuzzed out the road signs?? I highly doubt that.
