Watched the Samsung S4 unpacked event....it was really good
so what do you guys think about S4???? it really got something......
BTW it has IR sensor
i was afraid of that...
Design wise crap....but it's got some serious software tricks....

Hmm. I think we as consumers today are too finicky and hard to please. The inherent satisfaction after a product purchase is very easily replaced when something else catches our interest and needless comparisons make way.
The Z is a great smartphone in its own right. There will never be a perfect phone. So get the phone you want, after taking it for a spin and then revel in the bliss. Just my 2 cents

Can you guys post what screen you have if you've rooted?
install a terminal from the Play Store and type this into the terminal:
- su
- dmesg|grep -i panel
Look for "Found panel: mipi_video_********_Full_HD_******"
Some report that a reboot helps if you aren't getting a proper result.
Also if the calibration app is available now, so XZ screen can now reach full potential.

I will wait until the 4.2 update come out and root my device by that time
My XZ screen is good with nice black color, but if you tick the Auto Brightness.....when you use the XZ at night, the Screen will be very bright and make the Greyish become more visible

I'm not going to root for now. Everything is working amazingly awesome. I don't give a F about S4 or any other device as of now. I've got what I always wanted in a smartphone. Thanks a ton Sony, I god damn mean it. XZ works flawless. Ya, next time get a better camera lol but this one is good too
