I ordered my Z1 from handtec and fedex called me to fill in a form for the FCC approval. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is the Z1 even approved by the FCC ?

Sony’s Xperia Z1 going through the FCC
It appears that Sony’s Xperia Z1 is making it’s paces through the FCC filing system and suggests that it could be announced for US launch before September 30th.
The filing requests that the user manual, test setup photos, external photos and internal photos remain confidential until September 30th to insure that they have proper time to release it to the market. I understand that it has released in other markets at this point, but Sony has been mum on whether it will release in the US market.

I have xperia Z and the camera quality I good. I know it is good when, all my friends that use iphone 4 and Samsung (galaxy, note ...etc) said the same thing that Xperia Z camera is so good compared to them (but the problem is, my Xperia Z will always be the camera for our trip).
If the iphone and Samsung galaxy owners said that Xperia Z is better, I guess its really better compared to them. (note: this is only for smartphone camera shootout judging from the phone's screen and not for poster/big screen view). I think superior auto on Xperia Z performs so well compare to theirs.

No matter the various "issues" people find with the Z1, I can't wait to get my hands on it. So long as it beats the pants off my Xperia x10a, I'll be happy
... of course if my x10a is superior, well then me and Kaz are gonna have to have a sit down and talk about this
Damnit Sony, you have to speed up release of all these goodies you've announced! PS4 I can understand as they have to build up hype, but I want my Z1 and VAIO Flip 13" ASAP! They haven't even announced pricing on the Flips yet
