Just been browsing around at some game titles to download and you are looking at some serious sized games that look absolutely fantastic.Brothers In Arms looks really cool and is a 82mb download.
Theres also a music making app Im going to download next month called Beatmaster. If youve played around on Fruity Loops or Reason or Cubase on the PC,its pretty much like those programs but just on a phone. Its a 182mb download so I got to wait till next month when I buy another 1GB data bundle.Running a bit low at the moment and what Ive got left has to last me till the end of the month.
One thing that is an eye opener is the size of these applications, games and themes on an iPhone coming from the world of Nokia and Sony Ericsson. These developers are having a ball and maybe making a good buck or two while they at it.Theres some serious good shit out there.

Dam,when was the last time i played around on FruityLoops

i gave up on Reason the same day i installed it lol,way too complicated for my lil brain with its low concentration span

,sounds realy good Hobbs, ye also gota remember that in the USA and Europe they have Unlimited Data at good prices and those are the people the iPhones and Google G1s are aimed at. Talking about unlimited data my bud who lost his N95-8gb (the one i used to take a few pics with a year ago), got a BlackBerry Curve 8900, with Unlimited Data on his MTN upgrade, im so envious, but theres a catch, it doesnt have 3G or HSDPA, just thought though that you can get both the Bold and Storm for quite a bit more on the same contract, i wonder if you can take these BB contracts without taking a BB enabled device though? I remember i saw P910 and a while later a P990 on these BB contracts but AFAIK those were BB enabled phones.

@ Hobbster: Yeah the better half used to have Cubase on the PC for her music; I'm sure she'll be intrigued if I show her the Beatmaster app. 182MB...

, and all those megs for such impressive gaming. Serious wow stuff.

@ Hobbster:
Just checked out PocketGuitar in the App Store (UK). LOL, that's keeewl, turning one's iPhone into a virtual 'axe'; I'm trying to picture someone on public transport here playing the ' electric guitar' on their iPhone to something like Metallica's song 'One' or something of that ilk.

Ive been through most of guitar app Wangs and have stuck with one called GUITAR.You have 8 slots at the top of your screen where you imsert the chords you want to use and at the bottom of the screen are your strings which you can strum or pluck while changing chords at the top that you have selected.Loads of fun.You can change between 6 string/12 string ECG

Dammit Hobbster; did the anti-cricket lobby organise all the rain in CT?
And to the think that one of the reasons the IPL was shifted to SA and not England was because of the weather, and we've hardly had any rain here for the past week... oh the irony. What are the chances? LOL.
Seems like there's more rain on its way there too.
