Argh... I thought mu W810i was bug-free until yesterday when it was quitting the camera whilst taking pics on the beach in bright light.
That was quite annoying, so I hope we get a software update soon.
I'm on R4CF002, on Orange in the UK.
SEUS says I have the latest software...
Mine did that before the update too, sorted it by setting the pic quality down to normal instead of fine and seemed to work
Not had the same problem since updating yet

Do you also have annoying cliks and pops between tracks and background hiss during playback ? Does the audio playback quality improves in the new firmware (R4CK003) ???

OK, chill out

, I found out that the high amount of hiss of my w810i where in fact due to the stock headset's in-ear headphones...I swap them with a sennheiser HD200 (70 euros) and then the hiss disappeared...don't know yet if my stock headset in-ear headphones are defective or not but if you have hiss pb, you should definitely start checking it.
Of course the clicks and pops between tracks are still there even with the new headphones. The guys from SE france advised my to update the firmware but I already have the last one according to the "update service phone"...same old story

I must admit I have never had any hiss but I never used the supplied headphones instead opting for my
Sony MDR-EX71-SLB phones that I also use with my PDA, so maybe they are the cause.
Has anyone on O2 UK got a later update than R4CE012 from SEUS either via the phones over-air option or the SE update windows program?

R4CE012 here. Another bug (feature?): when the number of messages exceeds some limit, I have to start deleting old messages. The phone should do this by itself, just having a rolling list of messages so that the oldest message is always deleted when a new one arrives. Should not be that darn difficult!

yes, shouldn't be all that difficult. but i know a lot of people who still keeps messages for decades yore. and if youre one of those people, you wouldnt want your phone deciding for you which messages to delete and which ones to keep.
an option will be good though. i always love options

When I trie to update the phone by air it says I've got the latest update. I have: R4CE012. But when I read some post in this forum poeple claims that they got never firmwares. Does the release of firmware depend on what country you live in? I live in sweden and my operator is telenor (vodafone).
