wot is the actual dimensions of the menu... coz i find the MAC-ICONS somewhat smaller than the other icons.. and when i load em up on my phone some icons are missing... what does this mean?

Depending on the menu.ml you use. Some menu.ml files I've come across don't have anything image specified for play now. Also the operator menu seems to be locked by firmware (the "flash" file) - I have found no way to disable the operator logo on the second menu. It won't accept the icon I specify.

or was it me havin a prob right there? coz my thought was... if the customized icon is a lil bigger or smaller than the original icons.. it wouldnt show up. so is my case just my case? or i messed up copying tha files.
its like this... first icon name: icon1_selected.png, icon1_unselected.png etc etc then on my menu.ml it is specified in the source as ="icon1_selected.png" so within this scenario.. i can always replace images and save them as same file name as icon1_selected.png and when i copy this to the phone.. its alright that i leave my menu.ml as is... right?

Found an interesting mod:
Shutdown Sound
navigate to /fs/tpa/preset/system/settings
place any mp3 in there and rename to SHUTDOWN_SOUND_SEMC.mp3 and it will play it when you shut down the phone.

Firstly hi to all, a great site with even greater info, now my hassle.
I have tried to flash through Davinci 13.7 a number of times and keep getting a "file corrupt" when DVT is starting the process. I've d/loaded & re/downloaded the files - W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA & W800_R1BC002_FS_EU2 a number of times and get the same error message. I've got a RED CID36 phone according to DVT, so I'm buggered where to go next.
Any help appreciated

To create in the main menu of the phone k750 and w800 the option "PlayNow":
Download the file:
PlayNow_w800
Decompress the file, inside of there is a folder called "playnow_w800" with the necessary files and a guide "playnow_w800.txt" playnow_w800:
-CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK
-CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK.itm
-cust_menu_data.dat
-cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat
-Save the folder "playnow_w800" inside the directory C:Archivos of programaFar
-Create the new directory "CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK" in / tpa/preset/system/custmenu/
-Write the file CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK.xml in / tpa/preset/system/custmenu/CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK/
-Erase the two files: cust_menu_data.dat and cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat in / tpa/preset/system/custmenu/
-Write the two files: cust_menu_data.dat and cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat in / tpa/preset/system/custmenu/
-Write the file CONTENT_DOWNLOAD_HOOK.itm in / tpa/preset/custom/
