It is not easy to say which photos are better. I dont see great diferences. I stay now with driver 2.1 because i have tested it too in dark places and 2.1 had a little noise than 5.4.
And one small question to jleosza: Why are you using night mode in this pictures??? I have found it in exif of your pictures.

i always leave night mode on, cause some pics with the night mode in sunny areas have less noise than not using the night mode, only for videos that i take the night mode off

err.... how can you prove that R1A044 take the best photo from the rest of the firmware to date? just my curiousity


I tend to agree with deckson.

I have a specific picture of a building I took with the original R1A044 driver which I use for reference, and I have not been able to reproduce the quality of this picture on any of the firmwares after R1A044, no matter how many times I tried and no matter which settings I use. Must have taken 50 pictures or so by now.

RIA044?!? That is like the earliest firmware for the phone! Pretty interesting to have the first version of the cam driver be the best.

I think the best one is the R1AA008 camdriver. It does not have lines across dark areas in the pics. I hope somebody will post the driver.

EDIT: Found the camdriver. A collection was posted on this thread..
