The FC video is indeed a nice finding!
Quote:Is that intended then or just a quirk? The built-in Video viewer app supports FC mode, but without having a file manager that works in FC mode you would not be able to utilize it.

The video players seems a little strange in FC mode. It does work but little things like in the menu, at the top it says 'Press' for pause, 'video_string_detail_view_e..' for fullscreen and also it has a 'Save' option for the left soft key. Weird

Quote:and if so,how?By allowing you to either manually or automatically make more memory available for programs to run.

The new version is so good. SMpro was no1 application before but now it is a must have. I don't have the latest fw yet but with this version of smpro the memory leak reduction is quite noticeable so the phone is automatically more stable. Very good Lisa, I am really impressed!

edit: with older fw, after near two days of heavy usage with wlan, advanced call manager and magic message manager runing in the background I have 11.7 free ram. I would say some 2mb more than before in the same conditions.

Unfortunately in the latest firmware autostart became a restricted feature of the operating system, due to "security reasons".

Lisa
I am still runing the old firmware as I am with O2 and upgrade not available yet. Ever since I downloaded SM Pro 1.3 I lost the autostart function and have to start software manualy.

I do not think this is due to the firmware but to the new version of SM Pro
