words of advice on the Pearl (if u've never used one before). Great device bar none. Still an adequate & VERY clear screen even in sunlight. Caution goes to entering data. You've already gotton used to the Curve so some highlights:

1> shortcuts are slightly different for review specific email, browser, etc.
2> PW entry (no matter where you're entering a pw: device, pop3/imap setup, applications) is ALWAYS Tap , NOT SureType.
3> return of the candybar will allow for better 1 handed navigation compared to the Curve.

yeah I've a few reservations about the Pearl 2, but if all doesn't go to plan I'll sell it and use my Curve when I get it back!

but i love the form factor of the pearl, and yeah it can be used one handed, something I've missed with the 7290, 8700, 8800 and Curve.

I had a quick bat at suretype in car phone last night and I think I can safely say it's going to take me hours to get used to it! but hey ho!

I've got it

so glad i did restore from my curve to the pearl none of my settings are there and none of my apps are..

oh! and jivetalk doesn't work on an 8120!
