N91 may have good music, but everything else is crap. IU am not a fanboy because I do not like the K850 either. And the iPod's sound quality is easily beaten by my K800.

I mean as a phone K800>N91, as a music player N91>K800

And N91 is better than K800, which means N91 is way better than an iPod, which is untrue.

Well, I use a pair of Shure e5c's with my iPod and there is NO PHONE on the market that can match the sound. NONE. Sorry but those crappy phones that come as part of the package cannot truly replicate good sound. Get a pair of REAL headphones and then make a comparison.

Here is my opinion (albeit slightly biased)..

N95
I've had a play on one of these and to my reckoning, even when they're brand new the build quality is poor, the lens cover is flimsy and the image processing is very very slow. The only up factor is that the video recording is very good. The GPS function is not particularly useful without 3rd party software, which I wouldn't be happy about after paying for the N95. The 5 MP camera's results are not great either. The colour balance is all wrong and setup to look to an untrained eye like a great picture but if you analyse it closely it's piss-poor.

K850
I haven't been priviledged enough to play with one of these yet. I went to the SE store in Kensington to play but they'd already moved it on to somewhere else. But from what I can gather in months of trawling the net. The camera results will be not as over-processed as the N95 results which will put it a step ahead there. The video recording might be a slight disappointment compared to the N95. No GPS (although for the difference in price you may as well get the K850 + the GPS Enabler). No wi-fi, this is actually a bummer for me. The image processing really couldn't be slower than the N95 if it tried, it's painful taking photos with the N95 and then the photos aren't as good as I'm expecting from the K850.

My choice would be to wait for the K850 if I was going to do a comparison between the two. But, the thing is, the K850 is not supposed to be pitted against the N95. The N95 is supposed to be an all-rounder complete package so it has every feature you can think of and compromises the quality of each. The K850 is supposed to be a true camera phone specialising in taking photos so it pulls the stops for the photos but compromises things like GPS and wi-fi.

They really shouldn't be compared to each other.
