I now use the space bar as a convenient 'shortcut' to return to the activity menu when an application is running.

After the great improvments with the previous update this one hasn't really changed much. For me Wi Fi always worked well and it was improved with the previous update so I can't tell any difference now. The alarm works now and what is important for me is that I can now connect to the internet with my laptop using the bluetooth modem over GPRS. I used to do this with all previous phones but it didn't work with P990i untill now. Also I can make a full backup on both the desktop and the laptop ( I used to have a problem with the desktop ).

I've found another bug on mine.

I sent a SMS message to someone from my contact list.

Normally on the SMS screen I was clicking the Jogdial on TO: and all the contacts that I sent SMS recently were shown in a list but when I click on it now nothing happens. I have to click on the screen for the list to drop down

What steps did you take to get BB connect working after the firmware upgrade? I have reinstalled it, but it is refusing to connect.

i had the same experience copying & pasting emails/docs, doubling/tripling the process & sometimes i don't get error...but WHAT'S REALLY FRUSTRATING IS, if you try to start writing & in the middle of that process of writing a LOOOOOOONNNNNGGGG email/documents, the error suddenly appears without you or even the device saving it on drafts....i feel like crying everytime i write & it's so frustrating..........helppppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!

After upgarding to the new firmware I can't help but having the idea that the battery is draining way faster than before. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

Try to use the GSM network only if you don't have a 3G service at your country.

using 3G network ( which is enabled by default in the new firmware ) while there is no 3G network coverage drains the battery very fast.
