on the k800 you were able to change the "view" of your inbox (a line with the sender and first line of the text OR just the sender)

on the k850 you can only choose the first of these options?

Yea, I've noticed that and found it a pain. Can't think why they'd spent effort removing stuff like that

Once the backlight comes on, it dims in about 5 steps, then stops. I'm not talking about when you haven't used it for a few seconds and it dims then the backlight goes off, I mean when the backlight first comes on (i.e. when you press a button).

Has anybody tried the blogger function on the k850i? Mine doesnt seem to be working, when i click sent blog.. I get "publish to blog.." and then a message pops up and says.. "Could no create and publich blog post. Try again?" It never works.

The internet access is fine and I can access google etc via the browser, but not publish the post?

Any ideas? Has somebody else got this working??

The phone is on vodafone, btw. but shouldnt make a difference.

Thanks

Hi,

I'd like to know if you can transfer music files to the memory card without using the supplied software and whether the Media player in the phone will automatically sort the files into album, Artist etc. from the ID3 tags?

More specifically, I want to be able to plug the phone/memory card into my PS3 and transfer music without a PC.

Thanks,

Just plug the phone into a usb on the front of the ps3 and select mass storage. You have to do it quickly as the ps3 says an unknown usb has been inserted and disconects the phone. But yeah it works a treat, view photo's, video's taken with the phone or stored music direct from the phone. It works a treat for me. The only thing is you have to press the triangle button and select display all for music and video because of the directory structure of the k850i, photo's work no problem as is.

I think you have it the wrong way round, I want to transfer music from the PS3 TO the phone. Have you tried this? Does the phone sort tracks into Album, Artist etc. using the ID3 tags? Or do you HAVE to use the software supplied?

Thanks,
