Phone Insurance
HELLO!
I've recently read of some P800 users
insuring their phones. I think it's definitely a good idea considering the fact that a phone can easily get stolen, or broken through misuse (i.e. some have already broken their P800 screens accidentally already). I would definitely like to feel secure with a bought-with-my-hard-earned-money P800 especially considering that its current price range is high. With insurance, at least you wouldn't DREAD using your P800 outside with the fear of it being stolen and you wouldn't be so overly PARANOID handling it and putting it in your pockets with the fear of its screen being cracked, etc. etc., you get the point.
Have any of you guys had your P800's insured here? Can you direct me to insurance companies which deal with this here in the Philippines? I've heard that
Globe or Smart can actually insure phones but the catch is it must be bought from them and not outside sources (which means that its "locked" to them). Are there other choices?
Thanks for any help and advice you can give.

chris,
try using the file manager from the SE CD. if not, just hook up with your laptop via IR then use the 'send file' utility of windows

@chris, just connect your P800 via the cradle, IR or BT... then just drag and drop your documents into the mem stick.

something weird happened to me after the my software upgrade. before i restored my backup files, i checked to see if i got all the upgrades that were available which was the
Organizer R1G
CDA R2A
Everything was there so i proceeded with the restoration. after restoring my files and turning the power on i noticed that the CDA software was back to R1B. I tried holding down the power button for 10 secs just to check if it would go back again to R2A but its still R1B. Very fraustrating talaga. And to think I had no plans of upgrading my software today kasi the last yesterday when i checked smartnets thread minor upgrade was only available and that was for the CDA only. When i checked this morning i was surprised that there was also an upgrade available for the organizer too. what you guys think? should i go for a master reset? kasi the people in semicon told me not to do that when i brought my unit for replacement because vital softwares might get erased which would cause the unit to crash.
