That's because your lense ARE dirty. You should wipe your lense everytime you switch on the camera just like your friend opens his lense cover everytime he wants to use his C902. I've made side by side comparison between W995 and C902 and W995 has better colours and detail. For evening shots C902 really loses the details due to the watercolour effect, but has slightly better colours if you don't choose the correct white balance for your W995
Btw, FW R1HA035 is out today. Anyone updated or gonna update soon? Let us know what improvements you find, camera vesrion etc. I'm tired of nasty surprises like missing Album Art (I know, Media Go but when will I have the time to re-transfer all of my 13+GB of music? Plus one of my transfers with Media Go failed which never happened with the old Media Manager so I'm not gonna find out which albums won't play in my W995 after transferring in that volume) so I'll let others try it first

I just got a Swedish W995
I tried to update it to the latest firmware through Update service, but at the end of the firmware update it just said that it wasn't successful, that I should "try again" and/or fill up my battery.
When I started the phone after the failed update, it's says that I got R1GA026 (2009-09-06).
I tried to update the phone again, but it says that now I have the latest version. Does this mean that R1GA026 is the current firmware for Swedish phones and that my "unsuccessful" update was actually successful?

mine is R1GA026 APAC-ANZ and that is the latest generic fw for w995, not very sure for branded phone....
i've experienced the "unsuccessful" issue on my W705 while updating the phone from R1FA035 to RIGA030. well, the scenario is the same as yours but not to worry, the phone is perfectly updated to the latest fw

i like some of the features on her phone

can i get the same version softare and how
and if mine is noy the latest software why is it not updating
both phone ar locked to the orange network

while in seus did you find the "update anyway" or "install anyway" button ( i couldn't recall the exact words because i'm not updating now) if yes, just click the button and it will update to the latest version available for your region...
