Thanks to mode for excellent tips.

No problem. Some of those shots are quite impressive. You can try lowering the EV a little more. The W995 has excellent display contrast which misleads you sometimes into thinking those photos have good contrast. Lowering the EV might make the scene look dark on the display but when you transfer it to your PC you'll be seeing it in all its glory Try lowering it as much as you are comfortable with then increase EV 1 step at a time per shot. Choose the best and then you'll know what EV to use for which situations the next time and it'll be a breeze

@Brazzuka's
I'm beginning to think you're just being sarcastic(?)

Damn, it's a lot of good pictures here!
I'm glad I found this thread. A W995 is my next phone

But one thing, do you use a special kind of driver to the camera?

[*] @spiid ... great photos! macro works really well which is what I am interested in ... are you able to take some more macro shots? I would like to see how close you can take a photo!

I have K850i and it is useless at macro, can't even take photo at 10cm away, no focus.

Aha - another ViewTY owner Mine is no longer with me but i had great fun with it until I switched to the W995.

Someone was asking for W995 videos here, here are two samples - one night shot (in nightmode) and another in daylight.

W995 night movie

W995 day movie

Not much to write about - pretty sure it can be better than this given the right mod.

After experimenting with a lot of W995 colours I felt like doing it the old fashioned way- Black & White

The downside of the W995's LED flash is taking photos in a pitch black room (e.g. nightclub) ... would you be able to take a photo in a pitch black room for me? Similar to the one you had in your computer room at home, but needs to be 100% dark.

Here are two examples of a completely dark room with flash

~9ft distance from the wall

~30ft distance from the furthest wall

As you can see, the flash is more powerful than the average LED

On another note, here are some evening macro shots without flash

And with flash
