Pocket-Lint didn't seem too impressed:

But some of these remarks seem unfounded.

Seen this phone in store for the 1st time last weekend and was actually shocked at how small and light it felt in my hand.
This must be the 'human curvature' in action - it really did feel half the size and weight of Satio.
It seem like I have found my next phone - and my first smartphone ever. Since I own my W890i (don't laugh at me) I'm looking for something slim and light. The W890 is just 80 gr... now the Vivaz comes with 97 gr. Well thats about 20% more, but still below the 100gr border I have set as my personal limit. It's only 13mm in height, compared to the 10mm of the W890 thats also 20% more.
But all this features in such a small and light device
! Finalla! That's what the Vivaz is about - the feature set might not be absolutely top-notch. I'm sure this wasn't the intention anyway. It's the first smartphone that's really slim and light, including a 8mp cam, Hires video, WiFi etc. etc. Or am I mistaken here?

highly likely that review was of a proto.
GSMArena on the other hand seems to favour the handset. apart from the OS
