Some useful apps:
GPS status- some good info about the gps
Wifi Analyzer- scans and info about wifi networks
Android Task Manager- alternative way to check installed apps etc
Battery StatusBar- If you dont like the widget style and want to percentage displayed on the status bar ... this is for you
Battery Widget
Camcorder- shortcut to open the video mode on the camera
Countdown widget
IP webcam- looks promesing but haven't tried it yet
Screen Mode- very nice widget for keeping the display on or preventing the lock screen to come up.
Weather bug
Calendar Widget 2- for displaying the date in various backgrounds
CalWidget- various sizes for displaying your events and very customizable.

Winamp for Android is my new fav for music, playlists, etc. Works well. Easy to navigate. Far better than the native app.

i got all excited by the idea too, until I realized it was only a 2.2 app.
but there's a nice pay app on google market for syncing Google Chrome on your laptop or PC to the web browser on your phone so that you can bookmark pages on one and it shows up on the other.
GDocs also looks good, but Documents to Go already automatically syncs with your Google Docs, and it handles all kinds of documents (Word, PDF, etc.)
