@Lollylost
Do you have the SO-01B firmware available? I see that it supports all the current languages, plus support for OGG vorbis.
Thanks in advance.

Pay for it. Look for wotan, totalgsm, davinci, setool or any other that supports this.

Is it possible to change the CDA with some program?, for example my X10 is from Spain and although this firmware brings the Spanish language, in Davinci they have mentioned to me that the correct firmware for Spain would be:
X10i R1FA016 0001 CUSTOMIZED DE/LUSTER WHITE GENERIC. Since it seems it is the customization DE (Germany)
It's possible to obtain this firmware to extract these 2 files and so to have the CDA correct?
Thaks for your great job

There is no generic firmware for Spain. Use Generic UK instead. Contains all the languages.

Is firmware .16 available for the X10a yet?
I haven't yet de-branded my X10a as I haven't seen a need. If the updated firmware is available though...

One of the members over on XDA has
run into a problem after de-branding his phone to the generic NA firmware:
I just debranded my Canadian Rogers x10a. Everything worked well. But now I noticed that I can't find a particular app in the Market that I installed prior to the debranding. The app is "TwonkyServer Mobile". I'm under the impression that certain apps are only available in certain regions. In debranding my phone did I lock myself out of certain apps?
...
Oh shoot. I think I found the answer. I think the Generic North America Rom hasn't been white listed by google. So any app that has that restriction in the Android Market won't show up. I found that info in the Twonky forums. I think I'm going back to the Rogers branded rom. Rather look at Rogers' stupid startup screen than lose apps.
...
Yes, I used the exact same APN settings that I had before the update. I can also see the Rogers My Account app and it works as well.
Here's the explanation from Twonk...
"TwonkyServer mobile cannot be viewed or downloaded by phones that are not "whitelisted." A whitelist for the Android market was put in place to prevent rooted phones and developer phones from accessing the Android Market. Some phones that are unlocked or don't have a 2 year agreement do not appear on the whitelist as well. OEM's are supposed to register the build fingerprints for their devices so they appear on this whitelist and some are not following through properly. That's why they cannot view or download TwonkyServer.
Apparently, this was done because of the fear that these Apps might appear online and be shared illegally. It's ironic that some users of regular, unrooted phones are not able to access the market because their build numbers are not whitelisted. However, if you root your phone and fake your fingerprint you can access all the apps with a rooted phone. When users notify us of phones that are not whitelisted, we pass this info on to Google and hopefully they're addressing this."
Anyone else run into such an issue, or know a work around? Did he do something wrong?
Just wondering as I continue to consider whether or not to de-brand my Rogers X10.

I'm wondering if there are other apps that aren't seen on the unbranded X10s that are otherwise available on the branded ones?
