This is Nokia shooting itself in the head again

Only in key markets in Europe later in the year. Have to wait alot longer than At&t etc. This is another reason Nokia sales are lower in my view. Samsung releases to multiple markets not restricting itself. About the image quality it looks 'good' but still no match for the 808 especially for night shots. This is WP problem maybe but looking at the Samsung Ativ S camera that is as good as the GS3 in terms of image quality so maybe it's a Nokia problem. Don't get me wrong i still love Nokia,but their making mistakes and on their WP handsets there is alot of image noise and blurring despite the shouting they do about their cameras. The daytime images look ok but night time not close to the 808. Maybe i shall be proved wrong on final release. But i certainly won't be buying this one

Not bad, hope NL will follow soon, if not, a trip to Germany will be needed, next big German electronics retailer (Media Markt) only 20 kilometers from here

With all due respect and not trying to start any big thing... But what do you care weather he's buying it or not? Why attack another user over what they are or are not planning to purchase... if it's the fact that he posted it twice - simply mention that... Sure we're all entitled to post what we wish but why be so confrontational? CHILL OUT

Thanks mlife and @teegee plenty have people on forums say weather they like or dislike a model and say if they will buy or not. I love Nokia but i don't like this model at all.

As for me, the phone is not interesting in appearance!
The camera is the most important gadget for me on the phone and will be doing pictures like this going to turn out how they got it in the hands of the best in Esato!

I'm getting one as soon as is out.. in white.
I dont give a damm if some people find this hideous, i love it and was waiting for this. WP is lovely as an OS and is finally catching up with the competition.

and then there is the color... my last few phones have been white, so do I get the red or yellow..... such decisions....

You are not getting it, because the bottomline is picture quality, and 1020 takes considerably worse pictures than 808.
