Ha ha, I too like weird Sony. Don't they have quite large presence a CES? I think will be showing a bit more than a new Walkman if that's the case.

I am sure they will, probably expanding more on their NFC and bluetooth offerings as well. The walkman is just one thing confirmed for 100% so far.

Now I don't want to jump to conclusions but surely that image is reference to this still taken from the teaser trailer from Sony's New World Promo.
In that video the said item is picked up by just a few fingers, again I don't want to jump to conclusions but that must be a new tablet right ? If not what else could it be.

It might be a tablet, the rumoured 12 inch one. It could also be a really thin TV be it real or concept, OLED possibly, but that wouldn't explain the grabbing, who the hell grabs a tv.
