@P800_Zen_master
You make a good point about upgrading to the P910 because it has a feature that you need, but I wonder how many people will upgrade to the P910 just because it is the latest gadget. I have no need of any of the improved features of the P910 so I shall not be upgrading, as I stated previously I would like those features, but I see no point in tying myself into another contract when I would be better off waiting for the P1000 to be released, which will hopefully have the features I am in need of.
Ironically I remember saying that I wouldn't upgrade from the P800 to the P900 when it was released because of the reasons I have given above, but actually holding the P900 in my hand I just had to have it.

Perhaps, therefore, I am unqualified or perhaps qualified, depending on which way you look at it, to speak on this issue.
As I have stated repeatedly I am unsure why there is so much jealousy and resentment from some of the people posting in this thread over the release of the P910, at the end of the day it is just another phone and when SE release their next smartphone I am quite sure the whole process will repeated again. Technology moves very quickly and I don't think anyone can seriously expect to keep up with it at all times.

@Scotsb-
I think a lot of UK residents are tied into contracts with the Pxxx series phones for more then one reason. That's why I always purchase my phones sim-free. There's usually a bigger price tag attached with 'sim-free', but as we've seen with the P900 and the online updates it is definately well worth it. Because there are no strings attached it feels like I'm just buying a gadget and not really a phone. So having to buy the latest gadget is as an obsessive behavior as my girlfriend having to buy the latest fashion shoes. I guess the cycle will go on.

People, PLEASE?! Why is there such tension and hostility? It's a bloody good phone. Those who don't think so, should not buy it, those who have the P900 and feel an upgrade is not necessary, don't upgrade -wait for the P1000, P800 owners who "waited" for a "real" upgrade, well done, upgrade, and to the dreamers, dream on!!!

Perhaps if we all stop mentioning the tension, which I still fail to understand, it will die down.

I am happy with my P800 and K700i. Not sure I need a P910... still waiting for what will come after. Wi-fi is not interresting and the UMTS (3g) providers doesn't sport much interresting stuff either. Movi calls are just plain boring.

The stuff they sell as in ringtones etc are just pathetic. Can download the same stuff from the net for free and then BT it to the phone.
Not sure what I want now... =)
