I had no idea that the keypad backlight looks so good. Unfortunately, the design is my only problem. K750 for me.

But that will be a Volkswagen (VW) and not a Walkman phone.

This cant be true after reading Interviews with SE people talking about how we can move our mp3s to w800
You can interprete an interview in anyway you want. What the mouth says does not necessary equal what the mind thinks.
Sony is one of the biggest music producers in the world. Its in their interest to prevent or make it difficult to copy copyrighted material. So it would be logical for them to fool people into this kind of trap.
In such case its hard to understand why W800, but not K750.
Anyway, its all rumor until we see it in the reality.

Don't worry. It was clearly stated that you can copy tracks on the phone. I don't think they will force people to download every track from the internet.

I will be disappointed if you can't transfer files between phones.

govigov, what's wrong with the 1GB mem stick? the W800 uses mem stick duo slot so whatever capacity that form factor will have in the future should be compatible.

Peter Marsden, MD of SE UK and Ireland, in todays Times said, "the phones will initially carry 512 megabytesmemory cards, . . . . but one day the cards could enable storage of up to 32 Gigabytes". The interview is on page 52 March 2nd.

The amount I 'would like' this phone is unbelievable, I so hope it comes out on orange, seeing those live pics of it, with the keyboard lit up, it looks so brilliant, and I didn't realise it was such a white, seriously cool!
And 32GB MSDuoPRO, how much is that going to cost!
Chazzer.
