try inputing those values in check. If still doesn't work there's some dialling rules mentioned in a site.
here's another solution:
# Open the Control Panel. Click the Network and Internet Connections option, then choose Network Connections. Note If the Control Panel is in Classic View, double click the Network Connections icon.
# Right click your Dialup Connection and choose Properties.
# While you can enable Dialing Properties, we recommend that you UNCHECK "Use dialing rules" and type the entire number INCLUDING properties into the "Telephone Number:" field.
# Once you have corrected the number, click OK and try the dialup again.

no...couple of bsnl guys came a week ago and gave the modem.today someone called me up and said this is my username and password....try connectiing.
