remember sony's strict policy on hardware monopoly. though the HD video recording might be hampered by the fact that omap3 (assuming that this is what the platform idou is using) maxes out at D1 resolution.

The SD slot doesn't mean nothing: sorry if I'm wrong, but in my memory, that crappy K850i also have a SD slot, and it's "home-made" (no pun inside
) by SE.

As far as I remember SE did have "Dual Face" in it's ads a few years ago? Maybe they are taking this one step further and name this thing Walkman on the front and Cybershot on the back? Just a thought.

@Oli, I expected Idou to clearly show having both FastPort and 3.5mm headset jack; just like the SE W995 has. This is not too much to ask for; especially when this new :Unlimited Entertainment: (pst Emoticon needed
) emphasizes on No limitations and full capabilities of hooking up to your stereo or TV. I shouldn't have an expense proprietary plug to use such features or an expensive block to do so..

SE done it better! Idou, 12 mpx in 15 mm ... Beast and Beauty at the same time ... We couldn`t ask for more ... Just one thing availability in q3 ...

guys i thought having symbian open sourced would mean it would lower the cost of development of the platform. and that could open a new door for manufacturers to further expand the specs while keeping the price of the product still. thats why we have everything on idou and i assume the price would not be so high.
