Well I dug out the ol' 'tape measure' phone, i.e. the Nokia 7600, and took a pic with it to remind myself how far cellphone cam technology has come on over the 5-odd years.

Seems like everyone missed the newa but Vodacom released the HTC Magic, upstaging MTN which had released the HTC Dream at ridiculous subscription packages.

. That's the reason I posted the pic; even in good lighting conditions, the cam's limitations are very evident.

I know, which was my point even if not obvious.
It is amazing how we get used to technology, and then something that was state of the art, or something we could live with a year or two ago suddenly becomes totally unacceptable.
