even though the EROM update on wotan server is free, you still have to have at least one credit available in order to do the update.
if you want to update uyour EROM, just purchase a credit, update the EROM, then you might as well update your firmware with the credit you purchased.

Oh damn, now after 5 months it happened. The joystick has began to not work. I reallt thought SE this time would have improved it but, no. I'm a big fan of the joystick, probably because my first SE phone, T610 had it. After that one i've been using K700, K750 and now K800. The joysticks on both T610 and K700 i did never have any problems with. The K750 broke pretty much when i opened the box and K800 yeah 5 months now.
Do you have any tips what i can do to get it to work?

I am trying to use my k800i to receive imap emails from my isp Freedom2surf in england. I am on the '3' network with a se k800i. Any links/information would be very helpful. I have already setup as follows:
messaging/email/settings/new account:
NAME: F2S (for my reference only)
CONNECT USING : 3 LOCKED (there is a choice to create a new connection with ps data ? or cs data? (is that packet switched and circuit switched/? What does that mean)
EMAIL ADDRESS BVIOUS
CONNECTION TYPE : POP3/IMAP4 (I ALREADY USE IMAP WITH THUNDERBIRD)
INCOMING SERVER: INMAIL.Freedom2surf.net
USERNAME: [FIRST PART OF MY EMAIL ADDRESS BEFORE @]-F2S-COM
PASSWORD: MY MAILBOX PASSWORD
OUTGOING SERVER: OUTMAIL.FREEDOM2SURF.NET (If on f2s adsl service then normally outmail.f2s.com)
ADVANCED SETTINGS FOLLOW:
ALLOW CONNECTION: HOME NETWORK(I DONT REALLY THINK THIS MATTERS)
ENCRYPTION: MAYBE SSL/OR TLS?
OUTGOING USERNAME: [FIRST PART OF EMAIL ADDRESS BE4 @].FREEDOM2SURF.NET
OUTGOING PASSWORD: MY MAILBOX PASSWORD
AS A RESULT THE PORTS INC AND OUT ARE NOW 995/465.(is that right?)
I hope that someone has the answer/weblinks to solve this.
I dont mind reading technical information so that I can learn and not have to ask questions like these, but where to find the info without using the 3 'nohelp' line etc, is the question on my lips.

The only differences I can see are "no encryption" and no "outgoing"
details - my fields are blank. I have ports 143 incoming and 25 outgoing.
You have selected imap ?
Check your email address is right and confirm the incoming and outgoing
server address - I had trouble to start with when I typed the incoming
server address wrong !!!

Been using my new K790a for weeks and its been absolutely great. Got it from Sony direct. SOOOOO niiiice. I just wish they'd make it quadband like my W810i.
