I am kind of confused. So it won't be named Z3+ for int market also? What about Z4 Ultra? It was seen on some postel site few weeks ago. Moreover will this affect the release schedule of Z5 Series in November?

Naming is one of the last things that is being decided, Maybe Sony had multiple options like Z3+, Z3 Neo, Z3 X and also Z4...
Sometimes they might favor one over one, at that time insiders ( or ones with inside sources ) might have this name...
But at the end, it's not finalized... Marketing might change every thing in the last minute before sending confirmation to press materials ( which might be already ready as art works... just waiting for final decision )... they might even finalize a name that wasn't an option before...
For me, if the news about introducing a new naming for codenamed-Z5 might be the reason they went for Z4... as it's the last one in the series. it will be weird to name it Z3 Neo, Z3+ or Z3 X when all devices before used sequential numbering...

It's like a neater, more refined version of the Z3C. Sony should be applauded for the way it's giving us extended battery life. 3 days is just amazing!
