I got the 3 games(Super Real Tennis, River Riders & Darts), no USB cable(but I wasn't expecting that) the only 02 things that look like have to stay on the phone is a shut down screen and an 02 logo in the top left icon of the menu system instead of the Sony Ericsson one

Just got mine from the o2 shop, I have got to say that I am really impressed with the phone, only problem is the o2 pre installed stuff which I am going to have to change for t-mob as thats my network.

Is the phone locked to o2?

@Mixin no it's not locked to o2 I just got a sim free one and put my t-mob sim card in it, only thing is it's got an o2 symbol on the desk top and it's got their gprs settings in it. I have just got to put the t-mob gprs settings in it.

You see id rather have the phone completely void of all operator logos, such as the O2 icon in the menu.

How much did you pay for the sim-free k700 from O2 ?

@AntonisCy:

In T610
- if mobile is ON then battery meter is full and green. Nothing more
- if mobile is OFF everything is completly off (when charging screen has a battery filling)

I assume K700i isnīt too different

I asked in the O2 store for sim free, they literally told me to f*ck off !

Yeah, the store in Birmingham refused to sell me a sim free phone and the only contract they'd let me have it on was a 30 quid one.

Two other local O2 shops were fine about sim free sales though. They had quite a few left but said they were selling quick.

Does anyone know which USB cable to use for the K700i ??
K700i is not listed as compatible device under neither DCU-10 og DCU-11 on S//E website.

And does anyone know if the USB cables gives faster transfer speed than BT or IRDA ??

I believe you should be able to use any of them. I use the USB connection on the P900 sync station myself

The driver for these USB cables installs them as a virtual COM port and so the connection is serial and therefore slower than IR or BT
