Whoa psycho guys. I was hardly accusing anyone, but i guess i did come off a bit strong, so i apologise. But it wasn't a load of crap either... I accept there are other reasons you might want the sound off and i think i could have worded it better. But my mind was not in the gutter at all, i am just quoting what i have read about mobile phone shutter sounds in online articles etc. Because the fact is, SOME people (i'm not saying this is you!) have been caught using their phone for dodgey things (Think of signs you see in public places such as swimming pools saying there are no mobile phones allowed). So mobile phone manufacturers often don't allow you to turn the sound off JUST IN CASE you are that dodgey type (again, you probably aren't, but there is no way that Sony Ericsson or any other mobile phone company for that matter, are going to know). Japanese and Korean law forbids the sale of mobile phones with the function of being able to turn off the shutter sound.

I can't wait 'till it gets released in Croatia. I'll get it the same day. Croatian
web page is confusing at the moment. On mobile phones list the yellow star is gone (:D) but on the K850i Overview page it still says "K850i uskoro dolazi" which means "K850i is coming soon".
Does anybody have more info when will
release K850i in this area?
And when will Esato add Green K850i for logo?
These are created in Photoshop

@gabbyevs, I find the keys fine but its taking a little getting use to the new soft key layout because, when I'm using the directional buttons (dpad) I find I automatically go to press in the middle where the 2 and 5 buttons are in order to confirm
I'm sure it will come natural to press the middle soft key soon though!
otherwise... a bit thicker than I imagined but otherwise not bad and I do like the front display with all the lights!

Some people were asking why is there a green ring around the camera in the K850i demo tour.
It seems that demo tour was created while K850i was in the early prototype stage when it still had green ring and 2 speaker holes.
Just to clear that up

Thought there's still the green ring in the green and black version of the phone?
Or are you talking about the light when the camera shutter is open?
