@baste07, nangyari na yan dati sa akin. I brought my gf's t68i unit to semicon RPP and they inserted another sim and th gprs access worked. weird thing is ayaw sa sim ko and sa sim ng gf ko.
Anyway, try calling up globequest at 7301357.
tell them to check kung naka-provision/activate yung GPRS account mo sa number mo.
kung naka-activate naman, tell them to remove the account and add it again. (pa-provision uli)
it worked for me.

Is Ericsson set to release a new phone soon other than the P800? Im thinking of buying something not as expensive as the p800 but not as defective as the t68i!
Actually, I have been considering buying a t68i because it looks so sleek and it is an ericsson BUT I notice that its OS is basically the same as an t39 which gives me heeadaches.
Will the upgrade on a t68i cure its irritating habits?
Will an upgrade not make it save messages in the inbox automatically? I prefer the OS of the R320 which simpyl deletes old messages to make way for newer ones. That way I dont spend time deleting and deleting messages i didnt want saved in the first place!
will an upgrade of a t68i do that?
and will their new phones not do that?

@lucy,
i'm using a t68 with software ver R5D for over a month now and i don't see any problems so far. regarding your concern that the SMS is not deleted automatically, i don't think this is a problem since the t68 has lots of memory for your text mesgs. you can always delete the text mesg after reading it if you think it's not worth keeping.
@kiko,
check your sim card if it's inserted securely/properly.
you can also bring your sim card to any gobe biz ctr to have it checked.
i experienced the same problem and i had my sim card replaced. the problem is gone now.

@baste
Not if it's a t68mc (check the back of the unit after taking out the battery). Use search on "t68mc upgrade" as this had already been the bane some who have a t68.
