To those who wondered if branding could be restored it is possible.
I had debranded from Vodafone using Wotanserver and changed my CDA to a Generic UK one (Dont ask me why). The debranding also gave me the latest firmware (R1ED001). The Green and Red phone keys that Vodaphone added to the phone proved to be annoying with the generic firmware as i / everybody else kept pressing them to make / end a call. These keys launch the internet etc on the generic firmware and this became annoying so i decided to try to get the branding back and this is how i had to do it:
1. As R1ED001 is still the newest version on SEUS i had to use Davinci to revert back to R1CB001.
2. Before flashing the firmware i had to get the Vodafone CDA from the first page and enter it manually into Davinci as i had changed my CDA (Wotanserver does not allow you to enter it manually).
3. After flashing completed i ran SEUS and it detected that an update was available (It was something like VodEUM2 Live2) and i continued with the update.
4. When the update completed i switched on the phone and checked the software version and it had indeed updated. The EROM obviously stayed the same version as before as SEUS does not update the EROM yet.
5. Vodafone users only: This update seems to bring with it a new version of the branding so be prepaired as the top left button is set as Ticker by default (Although this can be disabled to allow it to be used for Menu access) and the right hand menu button doesnt perform a function on the idle screen.

Someone needs to update the first post to state that O2 & Vodafone have released FW updates for UK (or European) based networks.

Could you explain this better please? I have a branded VFUK, never unbranded, updated to R1ED via SEUS and don't have what you're describing. What's the "Ticker"?

Tried to update firmware using SEUS on my K800i again. Usually says I have the latest software. Now its saying "Device Management Sony Ericsson Communication Interrupted". Anybody enlighten me as to what this can mean and why the sudden change? Thanks in advance, Skin

Nope mate I have that firmware from Voda and same as it was before, left soft key is "Menu" and right soft key is "Toolbar". No mention of a ticker anywhere...........

I haven't been here for a while. But I just wanted to say, that the call list bug being frozen (having a blank space at the bottom) and the alarms not going off are still present in the most recent firmware, R1EG001 K790i.
